School support

School support
School visits are valuable for behavioural and/or learning difficulties experienced at school. The behaviour therapist sees the child and teacher at school and the behaviour therapist will conduct an observation, discuss goals and discuss challenges at school with the teacher. Accordingly, advice and strategies will be provided to the teachers and yourself.
Ongoing therapy at school is possible if the school allows it. Ongoing visits at school could mean ongoing monitoring of your child’s behaviour at school, ongoing support in class or at the playground and one-on-one therapy at school.
Colourful Minds can offer a combination of support (in-home, in-clinic, school, community and telehealth) in the way that suits your family best!
